Strengthening Grassroots Organizations Through Learning & Partnership On 20 August 2026, Green Leaf Foundation, Gossaigaon participated in the Niranthara Northeast 2.0 partner meeting held at the CRR Office, Gossaigaon, along with representatives of other grassroots organisations. The meeting was organised as part of the partner engagement under the Niranthara programme, with an emphasis on understanding organisational progress, experiences and learning after joining the programme. We were pleased to interact with Mr. Dimgong Rongmei, Executive Director, RNBA; Mr. Wungmaya Lunghar, State Head, Northeast, Dhwani Foundation; and Mr. Aminur Zaman, Batch Manager, Niranthara Northeast 2.0, along with representatives of Centre for Relief and Rehabilitation (CRR) and Eco System Protection Trust (ESPT). The official communication listed Green Leaf Foundation, CRR and Eco System Protection Trust among the Lower Assam partner organisations participating in the meeting. The interaction provided an important opportunity to reflect on our organisational journey and discuss areas that are essential for building a stronger and more accountable grassroots organisation. The discussion covered SAT assessment, governance, legal compliance, financial management, organisational policies and fundraising. We also had the opportunity to openly share organisational challenges, experiences and learning with fellow grassroots organisations. Such peer interaction is valuable for understanding practical approaches, identifying areas for improvement and strengthening organisational systems. We sincerely appreciate the guidance, constructive feedback and valuable insights shared by the Niranthara team and fellow partner organisations. The meeting has encouraged Green Leaf Foundation, Gossaigaon to continue strengthening its governance, internal systems, compliance practices and overall organisational capacity.
