The programme began with a flag-hoisting ceremony at 8:00 AM in observance of Republic Day, creating a spirit of patriotism and unity among participants and spectators. The opening match between Jaraguri Sarbajanin Club and Young Star Bijuli Club was officially inaugurated by Mr. Sajal Kumar Singh, Executive Member of BTC for Industries and Excise.
The tournament progressed through intense knockout rounds where Dawaguri SR Lions defeated Jaraguri Sarbajanin Club in the first semi-final, while Friends Club Bhomrabil secured victory against Sankosh Super Six in the second semi-final.
The grand finale featured an exciting contest between Dawaguri SR Lions and Friends Club Bhomrabil. In the “Best of Three” final match, Friends Club Bhomrabil emerged as the champion by winning the first two sets with scores of 26–23 and 25–20, demonstrating remarkable teamwork, coordination, and determination.
The prize distribution ceremony was attended by several distinguished guests including Mr. Uttam Kumar Ghosh, Chief Advisor of Green Leaf Foundation, and Mr. Rofikul Islam, former Central Vice-President of AAMSU. BTC Executive Members Mr. Wilson Hasda (Education and E-Office) and Mr. Sajal Kumar Singh were also present along with Advocate Mokhlesur Rahman, President of BPF Srirampur Block Committee, social worker Mr. Abubakkar Ali, and several local dignitaries.
The tournament attracted thousands of spectators, sports enthusiasts, youth participants, and community members, making it one of the major community sporting events in the area. Beyond sports competition, the programme promoted youth engagement, physical fitness, teamwork, social harmony, and community participation.
