Participation in Niranthara NE-2 NGO Training Programme 2026

Green Leaf Foundation, Gossaigaon participated in the two-day “Niranthara NE-2 (Cohort) Training Programme” for NGOs held on 28–29 April 2026 in Guwahati, Assam. The programme was organized jointly by Dhwani Foundation and Realm of Nature Based Actions (RNBA), Manipur.

The training programme brought together grassroots organizations from different regions of Northeast India with the objective of strengthening institutional systems, governance structures, and organizational effectiveness among civil society organizations.

Representatives of Green Leaf Foundation, along with another NGO from Gossaigaon Sub-Division, actively participated in the intensive training sessions covering important organizational development areas including governance, statutory compliance, finance and accounts management, human resources, MIS and technology systems, programme planning, fundraising, and institutional accountability.

The programme also emphasized practical learning on board effectiveness, organizational policy frameworks, operational transparency, and long-term sustainability planning for non-profit organizations.

For Green Leaf Foundation, the participation marked an important milestone towards strengthening internal systems and enhancing the organization’s capacity to implement quality community-based programmes in education, environment, livelihoods, youth development, and social welfare sectors.

The Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to applying the knowledge and learnings gained from the programme to improve operational efficiency, governance standards, and grassroots impact in the communities it serves.
