Green Leaf Foundation Welcomes Delegation from the Goonj and Centre for Relief and Rehabilitation (CRR)

Green Leaf Foundation, Gossaigaon had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from the Centre for Relief and Rehabilitation (CRR) to its office on 14 July 2026. The visiting team was led by Mr. Mijanur Rahman Sk, Executive Director of CRR, and included Mr. Pratik Konthoujam, Co-lead for Goonj's operations in North East India, Development Practitioner, Data Analyst, and Sustainable Development Advocate. The delegation interacted with Mr. Mizanur Rahman, President cum Executive Director of Green Leaf Foundation, Mr. Abu Taher Sheikh, Compliance and Finance Manager, and Mr. Habizur Rohman, Programme Assistant. During the meeting, the Green Leaf Foundation team presented an overview of the organisation's journey, mission, and key interventions across education, livelihoods, women and child development, environmental conservation, and community welfare. Discussions also covered the organisation's ongoing projects, governance framework, financial and statutory compliance systems, programme management, and institutional documentation. The visiting team sought to understand the Foundation's operational approach, project implementation processes, and organisational compliance practices, to which the team responded by sharing relevant information and documentation. The interaction provided a valuable platform for exchanging ideas, sharing experiences, and discussing the challenges and opportunities facing the development sector in the North East. Both organisations expressed a shared commitment to strengthening community-led development initiatives and promoting sustainable social impact through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
