Green Leaf Foundation, Gossaigaon inaugurated a free TET Coaching Centre at Haraputa on 14 April 2023 with the objective of improving the success rate of candidates appearing in the Assam Sixth Schedule TET Examination announced by the Government of Assam for recruitment of teachers in the Sixth Schedule Autonomous Regions.
The 42-day coaching programme was inaugurated by Mr. Alfred Murmu, retired Head Master of Haraputa Girls ME School. Several distinguished guests attended the inaugural programme including Mr. Ruhul Amin Sheikh, English Teacher of Netaji High English Vidyapeeth, Mr. Abu Hanif Joaddar, Principal of Shimultapu Shankar Azan Jatiya Bidyalaya, Mr. Mokhlesur Rahman, Principal of Shankar Azan Jatiya Bidyalaya, Padmabil, Advocate Mafizur Rahman of Gossaigaon Sub-Division Judicial Magistrate Court, and many other respected personalities.
The coaching classes were conducted at Vidya Vikas Senior Secondary School under the initiative of Green Leaf Foundation, Gossaigaon. More than fifty candidates participated in the programme and received guidance from experienced teachers and educators from different educational institutions of the sub-division.
The faculty members included Mr. Uttam Kumar Ghosh, Assistant Head Master of Srirampur High School, Mr. Faizal Haque Chowdhury, Retired Science Teacher of Damrapara ME School, Mr. Mostafizur Rahman, Science Teacher of Netaji High English School, Mr. Rupnath Sharma, Assistant Teacher of Shimultapu Shankar Azan Jatiya Bidyalaya, Mr. Abdus Salam Sheikh, Assistant Teacher of Ghritingarkuti LP School, Mr. Mozammel Haque, Science Teacher of Telipara MEM, Mr. Mozammel Hoque Bhuyan, Mr. Saddam Hussain of Bhomrabil High School, Mr. Bishwanath Pandit, Assistant Teacher of Tulsibil Lokpriya MES, and Mr. Manikul Islam Sheikh of Grahampur Higher Secondary School along with several other experienced teachers.
The entire programme was coordinated by Mr. Mizanur Rahman, Coordinator of the Coaching Centre and President of Green Leaf Foundation, along with Mr. Saddam Hussain, Assistant Coordinator and Science Teacher of Bhomrabil High School, supported by members of the coaching management committee.
